The Kapiti Home Birth Support Group has been
supporting Home Birth on the coast for well over 20 years.
We are a group of local parents who get together
for morning tea on the first Thursday of each month. It is a great
relaxed environment where you can meet other parents planning Home
Birth's or chat to those that already have. We have a strong
connection with many local midwives who support Home Birth and who
also attend these morning teas.
Over the years, we have created an extensive
library of books, supporting all things natural from pregnancy
through to parenting. Another wonderful thing we do is, when a
new baby is born, we provide delicious dinners for the family for a
week.
