Home for most people is their sanctuary, their 'safe' place,
consequently labour and birth at home tends to flow more steadily. A woman
is able to focus on her 'instincts' and not feel vulnerable to 'unknown'
surroundings/people. Birth is a celebration and I have been privileged to be
